Located on Boston’s South Shore, Duxbury Yacht
Club was founded in 1875 and is one of the oldest yacht clubs in the United
States. The golf course dates back to 1901 when
six holes were laid out in the meadows of nearby farmland, which now serves as
the Club’s West Campus.
During the 1920’s the course was expanded to nine holes designed by Wayne
Stiles. Geoff Cornish and Bill Robinson completed a
redesign and an additional nine holes in 1969.
||The golf course is a challenging, traditional
New England design which fits the local topography and is walker friendly. The
course is compatible to all levels of play and conditions are consistent with
industry best practices. Members and guests are required to have tee times.
